It is amazing to me that it has almost been 18 months since Madeline left to serve the Lord full-time and preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ to the people of Puerto Rico. Yet, so much has happened. Now, it is time to prepare for her return and celebrate her service.
Sorry, Scheduled Lessons for P-Day Again
I have little time today. Once again I scheduled lessons for the middle of my P-day so I’m sorry. Spent too much time ministering to other needs, sooooorry. But I’ve been writing a letter that when it gets to you (hopefully before Mother’s Day) you can put in on the blog. I’ll put it in the buzon <mailbox> today. 🙂 Once again, sorry. I will get better at managing my time. Still got issues with that lol. Now I have to go apologize for being late to a lesson :/
What’s the Florida area code?
Hola a todos! <Hello everyone!>
I wanted to share with you all a very touching experience we had this week that totally strengthened my testimony of following promptings!
Transferred to Bayamon
I’m covering an area called Bayamon. I’m with Hermana Kyler. Right now there are no new missionaries on the island and there won’t be until August. So nobody gets to train. I could stay here for the rest of my mission but I could also very well be transferred again. It’s been communicated to me that it’s a 50/50 chance right now…
Pascua at the Guancha? (Easter at the Guancha?)
Hola a todos! <Hello everyone!>
Firstly, I’d like to say thanks to my mom and dad for reminding me that I only have less than 100 days in my mission 😐. You guys rock. They did send me a whole bunch of snacks though, so I am very much blessed that they remember me. 🙂

Búsqueda para el jóvenes (Search for young people)
Hola a todos! <Hello everyone!>
This week is going to be a good one, you know why? Because we’ve been planning a ton of things to help the area of Ponce find more young people. You would think that it shouldn’t be so hard because it’s a young city with a lot of colleges, but alas it’s still a tough thing. We’re going to pull on our limited experiences with YSA (I had a few days working in a YSA ward on exchanges in Cali and Hermana Beard once attended a YSA ward) and we’re going to bring all the young people to church!

P day? Que es? (P day? What is it?)
Hola a todos!
Today is going to be and has been very interesting. Silly me forgot that P day is important and I scheduled lessons throughout the day. Important lessons that are with very important people that told us they couldn’t do them any other day. So as for me and my companion, we have been doing what I like to call rush P day. We only have about 30 minutes scheduled in to write today, which is a ton less than what it usually is so for that. I apologize that I don’t even have a ton of time to share a spiritual thought. but here’s a little update/faith builder:
Update
Hola a todos! <Hello everyone!>
Work here is still a lot different than it used to be and I don’t think it will ever be the same jajaja. We have a lot of interesting investigators that are very cool! We’ve been teaching a girl named Wilmarie who is only in her early 20’s and has the cuuutest children! She’s so smart and is honestly probably already more knowledgeable about the gospel than I am by now jajaja but she’s definitely become a lifelong friend for sure.
Article About Missionaries Returning to Puerto Rico in Church News
This is Madeline’s dad. We found the following article about the missionaries returning to Puerto Rico in the Church News, part of the Deseret News here in Salt Lake City. It has a ton of great information and includes a picture with Madeline.

Cabo Rojo
Hola a todos!
It’s been a great week here in the Ponce Zone. We have slowly but surely been making sense of our areas. I can’t say we even know what we’re doing yet, but we know a little more today than we did yesterday! I try to end every day being able to say that jajaj.
